How it works

Pannonique makes one thing

A jellyfish mist lamp that gives you something to look at in bed that isn't a screen.

It started with a simple observation. Most people don't scroll at midnight because they want to — they scroll because the phone is the only lit thing in the room. Change what's lit, and the habit changes with it.

What it actually does

  • Cool mist. Ultrasonic, so there's no fan and no motor noise. It's quiet enough to sleep through.
  • Aromatherapy. Add a few drops of essential oil to the water if you want scent. It works fine without.
  • Colour-changing light. Slow, soft, and it lights the rising mist so the whole column glows.
  • 2–8 hour timer. Start it, fall asleep, and it shuts itself off. Automatic cut-off when the water runs out.
  • Remote control. So you aren't getting back out of bed to turn it off.

How to get the best out of it

Keep it out of moving air. The rising mist column is what makes it look like a jellyfish, and an open window, a fan or a heating vent will break the shape. In still air it holds.

Fill it at the sink rather than in place, and stand it on something flat.

How we sell it

We ship direct from our fulfilment partners rather than holding stock in a warehouse, which is why it costs $59.99 instead of what a traditional retailer would need to charge. The trade-off is honest: delivery takes around 8 days rather than two.

If it isn't for you, you have 30 days to send it back. If it turns up damaged or faulty, we cover it completely.
